Strategic Resilience in the Gulf

Airstrikes in the Gulf spanning late February through early March 2026 confronted the region's monarchies with an unprecedented reality: airspace closures, suspension of Dubai and Doha hubs, testing of defence systems, and direct threats to critical infrastructure—desalination, energy, data. For regional leaders, resilience is no longer a theoretical concept but an immediate operational imperative.

Decision continuity under constraint
Maintain strategic decision capacity when conventional channels—travel, communications, supply chains—are simultaneously disrupted
Protection of heritage assets
Secure family holdings, sovereign wealth funds and heritage enterprises against risks of regional systemic disruption
Psychological resilience of leaders
Preserve the acuity and decision endurance of leaders confronting prolonged geopolitical tensions and structural uncertainty
Reconfiguration of strategic alliances
Navigate the diplomatic repositioning of Gulf monarchies between dialogue with Tehran and alignment with Washington—an arbitration directly impacting corporate governance

Our Resilience 2026-2035 module, grounded in the work of Viktor Frankl, Cyrulnik and Tedeschi, integrates MENA epidemiological data (WHO, Lancet) and VUCA frameworks to prepare your teams for transformative shifts across the decade.
